Using Templates

note

Video coming soon!

Applying templates works like magic in Scribenote, just follow this quick guide to see how it's done!

First of all, edit or create a new note. The Use Template button can be used on all types of note forms (except when creating templates). We're just using a blank quicknote for this guide.

Click the Use Template button in the upper-right corner of the note. You'll see this pop-up:

The preset Scribenote templates are at the top, but if you scroll down, you'll see your custom templates. Click on any template to apply it.

caution

Note that applying a template will erase anything you already entered into the SOAP fields!

You'll see the note fields have automatically been filled with the template info! Now you can proceed with specifying the note for a particular appointment, such as replacing any placeholders you may have.

tip

As mentioned in the Creating Templates guide, you can choose a placeholder character such as "*" to "Ctrl + F" (Cmd + F on Mac) when you are completing notes.
