The AI Writing Assistant is available in the web app for Scribenote Pro users and helps you create clear, consistent notes with almost no effort. Instead of rewriting sections by hand or adjusting formatting one piece at a time, you can instantly refine any SOAP section with a single click. This saves time, reduces repetitive editing, and helps you keep every note accurate and polished.
Whether you want point form notes, full paragraphs, medical terminology, simpler client friendly wording, or even a different language, the AI Writing Assistant gives you the flexibility to shape your notes the way you prefer while you review them.
This guide walks you through each option and shows you how to make the most of this tool.
⚠️ The Writing Assistant settings cannot be automatically applied to all notes. You will need to adjust these settings manually each time you use the feature.

Click the ✨magic✨ button. Select the purple and yellow sparkle button next to the title of the section you want to edit. A dropdown menu will appear with several customization options.
Select an option. Select the formatting style or setting you want to apply. You can combine multiple edits. For example, if you want your note in point form and written in German, you can do both.
Format. Choose how the section is structured.
Bullet Point: Creates a bullet list for the selected section.
Paragraph Form: Writes the section using full sentences.
Add Subheadings: Organizes content into subheadings based on what was said in the appointment. (Not available for Client Summaries or Assessments.)
Terminology. Choose the tone of writing.
Medical: Uses more formal language and medical terminology.
Laymans: Uses simpler language that is easier for clients to understand.
Abbreviations. Control how abbreviations appear in your note.
Include Medical Abbreviations: Uses acronyms and short forms for veterinary terminology.
Include Full Words: Writes out all abbreviations in full.
Language. Select the language your note should be written in.

Objective Categories. ⚠️ Available in the Objective section only.
Only show abnormals: Choose to show only abnormal findings and numerical values.
Accept or reject the AI edits. Once the AI completes its changes, you can accept ✅ or reject ❌ the update. The original version appears on the right and the revised version appears on the left.
Note Feedback. If you want to share feedback on the AI output, use the thumbs up 👍 or thumbs down 👎 icons at the bottom right of each SOAP section after applying your selections. Your feedback helps improve the feature.
