Add to a Stopped Recording (Web App)

How to add to a recording on the Scribenote web app

Updated over a month ago

Need to stop your recording and then add more on to it later?! Whether you're switching devices, switching rooms, passing the appointment onto the doctor or technician on the same account... you can do so!

Important Disclaimer: Whenever a new recording is added to a note, the existing note will get re-processed, and a completely new note will be generated. Any edits made prior to Add To will get overwritten.

Click on a recorded note to edit. You will see the audio bar of the original note. To the right is a purple🎙️Add button. This will open a pop-up for you to start recording.

The popup will have a big purple circle🎙️Record button - click that whenever you are ready to begin recording.

When you're done, hit Stop.

The circle will have a quick load animation and give you a green check when it's done. Your note will start processing to generate the note with the additional recording. Next, go into your Inbox to review your complete note.

The result? A single SOAP note will using the two recordings combined... and guess what, you can add as many as you'd like!

Add to A Recording While Note is Processing

To add to a recording while a note is still in processing, click on the note to open it. Underneath the loading animation is a button that says "Add to Recording" which will allow you to add to it again.
