Select/Replace Tool

Replace words in your notes on the Scribenote web app

Updated over a week ago

On your computer, you can replace a string of text in your note with a new string of text. If it appears multiple times in your documentation, it will replace all those instances in one go.

The Select/Replace tool is only available on the web app on!

Open any type of note to edit and click the Select/Replace tool to activate the feature.

In this example, we want to replace "three-year" with "two-year, 4 months". Start by highlighting a word or phrase with your mouse. πŸ–±οΈ

A box like this will then pop up on the right hand side of your screen:

Type in the word or phrase that you would like to replace your highlighted text with. I will now type "two-year, 4 months" into the text box and then click Replace. This will find all the instances that "three-year" shows up in your note and replace it with "two-year, 4 months" instead.

And voila! πŸͺ„

Your selected text quickly updates to the new text. How cool is that? 😎
