Select/Replace Tool

Learn how to select/replace on the Scribenote webapp

Updated over a week ago

Select/Replace is a new feature for the web app! On your computer, you can replace a string of text in your note with a new string of text. If it appears multiple times in your documentation, it will replace all those instances in one go.

Open any type of note to edit and click the Select/Replace tool to activate the feature.

Start by highlighting a word or phrase with your mouse. ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ

A box like this will then pop up on the right hand side of your screen.

Type in the word or phrase that you would like to replace your highlighted text with. For example, I will type "two-year, 4 months" into the text box and then click Replace. This will find all the times "three-year" shows up in your note and put in "two-year, 4 months" instead.

And voila! ๐Ÿช„

Your selected text quickly updates to the new text. How cool is that? ๐Ÿ˜Ž
