Client Summaries is a Scribenote Pro feature that allows you to automatically generate a client-facing summary of an appointment. These summaries pull key information directly from the Medical Record and can be exported and shared with clients in just a few clicks.
You can send the summary to a client by email, print it before they leave the clinic, or copy the text for use elsewhere.
⚠️ Client Summaries are only available on the web app.

Generate the Client Summary.
Edit the Summary. Once the Client Summary is generated, you can:
Manually edit the summary text.
Apply Writing Assistant formatting.
Click Restart Client Summary to regenerate it
⚠️ Restarting the Client Summary will erase any edits you have already made.

Create your Adaptive Client Summary.
Go to the Adaptive Templates section in your Scribenote account.
Follow the steps for creating an Adaptive Template in the article below.
Choose either the Freeform option or select the Simple Client Summary inspiration template to get started.
Build and save your Client Summary as a template.
Apply your Adaptive Client Summary on a note. Once your Client Summary template is created, you can apply it to your notes:

Click Export Client Summary to share the summary with your client.
There are three ways to send the Client Summary:
Copy Plain Text. Copies the summary text so you can paste it directly into the body of an email or another document.
Download PDF. Downloads the summary as a PDF that you can attach or print. Example file name: Dobby Client Summary.pdf
Email. Enter the client’s email address to send the summary directly from Scribenote. Clients will not be able to see the email address associated with your Scribenote account.
