A revision of your note is made anytime the note is created, updated (and saved as a draft), moved, copied, or transferred, or when it is deleted. This means you have a fallback option in case that little trashcan button is ever clicked... accidentally π (we understand!)
Past Note Revisions
To see past revisions on a note you have open:
You need to be editing a note on the web application (app.scribenote.com) to do this.
At the top right hand corner, right above the Add To button and audio player, there is a See Past Revisions button. Click that to open a list of note revisions.
βThis will take you to Past note revisions where you will see a list of .txt files corresponding to each note revision event.
βClick on one of them to open it! It should open in another tab of your browser. You may need to allow pop-ups to see it.
You'll see a text file that shows the note in its most recent state, and then any additions (indicated with a +) and deletions (indicated with a -).
Please note: A revision will only be created when a note is saved as a draft. Note autosaves will not create revision updates!
