Recording Failed to Create a Note

Listen back to the Recording, or click the Retry button.

Updated today

Start by listening back to your recording to ensure it is complete.

If the audio file is blank, you will see: “Note Failed: Audio Recording is Empty.” This usually indicates a microphone issue. Check that your microphone is properly connected, that Scribenote has permission to access it, and try recording again. If needed, you can review microphone troubleshooting steps here:

If the note displays “Insufficient Information,” this means the recording did not contain enough medically relevant information to generate a note. In this case, you will need to re-record or add more detail to the note with clearer, more complete input.

If neither of the above applies and you see a Retry option, this means your recording synced successfully but failed during processing. Selecting Retry will attempt to generate the note again and usually resolves the issue.
