Setting up, Managing or Cancelling a Team Subscription

Learn how to set up, manage, or cancel your team's Scribenote subscription.

Set Up Your Team's Subscription

If you haven't set up billing for your team yet, follow these steps. If you haven't created a team yet, start here first:

  1. Click My Teams from the dropdown menu. If you are on more than one team, select the team you want to set up billing for.

  2. Click Set Up Billing.

  3. Enter your billing information and click Save Card.


Manage Your Team's Subscription

Adding or Removing Users from your Team Scribenote Pro Subscription

  1. Click My Teams from the Account dropdown. If you are on more than one team, select the team you want to edit.

  2. Click the Edit button next to the user you want to update.

  3. Choose their Account Plan from the dropdown menu.

  4. Click the checkmark to save your changes.

⚠️ Only changes made to users with the DVM role affect your subscription count and incur charges.

Upgrading one DVM adds one subscription to your bill, charged as a prorated amount on your next renewal date. All DVM subscriptions will renew on the same date.

To upgrade support staff, you must have at least one paid DVM subscription active.

You will not be able to change the plan for a team member who is individually managing their own subscription. They will need to cancel their individual subscription first, see:

Updating Billing Info, Invoices, or Switching Billing Cycle

  1. Click My Teams from the dropdown, then select your team.

  2. Click View Billing Info.

  3. From here you can:

    • Update your credit card information

    • View past invoices

    • Switch between Monthly and Annual billing

    • Cancel your subscription

To switch billing cycles, click Update Subscription, select Monthly or Yearly, and confirm. You will be charged a prorated amount based on your renewal cycle.


Cancel Your Team's Subscription

⛔️ Cancelling your subscription cancels the subscription for all team members linked to the subscription.

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, and all team members will retain access to Pro features until that date.

After that, all accounts will revert to the Free plan. If you upgrade again in the future, your team will regain access to all Pro features. Not sure what you'd lose? See how the plans compare:

To cancel your team subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Click My Teams from the dropdown, then select your team.

  2. Click View Billing Info.

  3. Click Cancel and follow the prompts to confirm.
