Teams Mode connects everyone at your clinic so you can record, transfer, and access notes across accounts whether you're a DVM, technician, receptionist, or practice manager. Each person uses their own Scribenote account, and notes can be shared and transferred between team members.

Do I have to transfer notes manually every time?
No. Turn on Transfer New Notes in your account settings and you'll be prompted to transfer automatically after every recording. See Transfer Notes for instructions.

When transferring a Medical Record or Multi-Pet note, look for the Apply Defaults checkbox in the transfer popup. This should be checked by default if you have Transfer New Notes enabled. When checked, the recipient's Custom Objective Defaults are applied to the note.

DVMs are required to have their own individual account. For support and care team members, we recommend individual accounts as well, they're included free with a paying DVM subscription.

Open the template selector and scroll to the Shared with You or Team Default section. You can also search by name. Select the template to preview it, then click Use this Template. See Using Team Members' Templates for full instructions.

Can I use the Free Plan in a team?
Yes. Free Plan users can be part of a team even if other members are on Scribenote Pro. Free Plan users can collaborate and view shared notes, and make typed edits to a team member's note. However, they won't have access to Scribenote Pro features, and cannot append to or process notes using a team member's custom Adaptive Template.
You can upgrade to Scribenote Pro at any time to unlock full access.
