How to Use Scribephone (Mobile App)

Call clients from the Scribenote with Scribephone. This guide shows how to start a call on the mobile app.

Updated over a week ago

Scribephone is a Scribenote Pro feature lets you call your clients directly from the app, no need for external tools! Every call is recorded with both sides of the conversation captured, allowing you to automatically generate a note from the recording.

To use your clinic’s phone number when making calls through Scribephone, you’ll need to complete a verification step first. This must be done on the web version of Scribenote at app.scribenote.com in your browser.

How to make a call with Scribephone

  1. Once you have completed the verification steps, open the Scribenote app and look for the phone button at the bottom of your screen. Tap it and you’ll be in Scribephone mode.

  2. Tap the green phone button to pull up the Scribephone interface. Here, you can switch Templates like you would on a standard recording, and dial a client’s number using the number buttons.

  3. When you’ve dialled the right number, simply tap the green phone button again to initiate the call.

  4. When the call is connected, you’ll see the timer begin. Carry on your call as usual. Scribenote will record it all, and when the call is ended, your note will appear in the Inbox and begin processing.
