Exporting your Notes

Learn how to manually export your notes by copying, downloading, or emailing from Scribenote.

Updated yesterday

Integrations are the best way to transfer your notes into your PIMS or medical record software. To learn more about the available integration options, check out this article.

However, if you prefer to manually export your notes instead, you can do so in a few simple ways:

Copy & Paste

You can copy the entire note if your PIMS supports entering it into a single text box. Just click the copy icon (highlighted in red) to copy the full note.

You can also copy each individual S-O-A-P field at a time, then paste them over to the correct fields in your PIMS!

Download as a PDF

You can download the record as a PDF file, then attach it to the patient’s note or file in your PIMS, just like you would attach a record from a referring hospital or another clinic.

Email

You can enter one or more email addresses to send your note directly via email. Once you click Submit, the note will be emailed to the recipients you’ve entered.

You can also set up Email Exporting for automatic delivery. To do this, go to your Account settings and scroll down to Email Exporting. With this enabled, every completed SOAP note will automatically be sent to the email address you specify when you click Submit.

Note: The link included in the Email Export is automatically set to expire after one day. You can update this below:
