Finding a Missing Note

Can't find your note? Here are a few places you can look!

If your note isn’t where you expected it to be, it’s usually due to one of two things:

  • It’s in another tab of your Inbox or in a teammate’s Inbox

  • It hasn’t finished syncing yet

Follow the steps below to quickly track it down.


Check your Inbox

Once you stop your recording, your note will automatically appear in your Inbox. Start here.

On the web app:

Your note may be in a different tab than expected, or in a teammate’s Inbox if it was recorded under their name or transferred to them.

Follow the steps below to check both:

  1. Go to the Dashboard and click Expand in the Inbox section.

  2. Check all tabs to make sure your note isn’t in a different stage.

  3. Use the search bar to look for the note by title.

    Search only applies to the tab you currently have open, so you’ll need to search within each tab.

  4. Use filters to narrow things down:

    Filters also only apply to the current tab, so you’ll need to check each tab individually with the filters applied.

    • Date

    • Notes in a teammates inbox

    • Template used

On the mobile app:

Your Inbox is shown directly on your main dashboard, with all notes visible in one place regardless of status.

Notes are listed in order of most recent at the top.

To find your note:

  1. Scroll through your recent notes.

  2. Use the search bar to look for the note by title.

  3. Use filters to narrow things down (for example, by date, teammate, or template).

    If the note was recorded under a teammate’s name or transferred, use filters to check their notes as well.


Check Unsynced Recordings

If you recorded in a low connectivity area or lost internet during recording, your note may not have uploaded yet.

Until syncing is complete, the recording stays stored locally on the device it was created on. This means you’ll need to check for unsynced recordings on the same device you used to record the note.
