My Note is Missing Information

Missing information? This might help!

Updated this week

If Scribenote did not include everything you expected in your note, here are the best ways to check if the information is still available and what to do if it was not captured correctly.

How to check if the information is in your note

  1. Review the transcript. You can view the full transcript in the Scribenote web app. The transcript contains everything that was said during your appointment and is often the quickest way to confirm details that did not appear in the formatted note. You can copy and paste any information from the transcript directly into your note. You can read more about the note transcript in the following article.

  2. Listen to the appointment audio. If you still cannot find the information you are looking for, you can listen to the original appointment audio. This can help you confirm the exact wording or context that might not be written out in the transcript. If the audio is unclear or difficult to hear, this can affect how the AI transcribes the conversation and may result in missing or inaccurate details.

How to address information that was not captured correctly

  1. Add to your note. If you forgot to mention something during the appointment, want to expand on a detail, or the audio was unclear, you can always add more information to your note. The article below explains how to add content to an existing note.

  2. Adjust your template. If certain details are often missing from your notes, you can create a custom template using the Adaptive Template feature. This helps Scribenote generate notes that better match your needs. Adaptive Templates are available to Scribenote Pro users. For guidance on how to build Adaptive Templates, see the article below.

  3. Share feedback with the team. If a note did not turn out the way you expected, you can use the Note Feedback Widget to share what needs improvement. You will see thumbs up πŸ‘ and thumbs down πŸ‘Ž buttons that let you quickly send feedback. Your input helps us improve the accuracy and quality of Scribenote notes.
