Changing your Template

Reprocess your notes into a different template.

If you recorded your note using the wrong template or forgot to select the correct one before ending your recording, you can update it at any time. You can also switch to another template if you decide a different format works better.

You can choose from your customized templates or from Scribenote's default templates. You can view all available template options here:

⛔️ Scribenote Free users can only access default templates. To unlock Adaptive Templates, consider upgrading to Scribenote Pro.


Change your Template in the Web App

⚠️ When a note is reprocessed, any typed edits will be overwritten. Make sure you save a copy of any text you want to keep.

  1. Select the note you want to update.

  2. Click Templates in the top right corner of the note.

  3. Choose the template you would like to apply. You can pick from your customized templates or from Scribenote's default templates.

  4. Return to your Inbox to view the updated note.


Change your Template in the Mobile App

  1. Select the note you want to update.

  2. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the note. Select Change Template from the menu.

  3. Choose a template to use. You may use the search bar if you want to find a specific template.

  4. Confirm that the selected template is correct. Tap Yes, Proceed to process your note. If you selected the wrong one, tap Cancel to return and choose another.

  5. Allow a few moments for the note to process. Once complete, your updated note will appear in your Inbox with the new template applied.
